 I offer online and in person, holistic psychological treatment to adults with a variety of complaints including, anxiety and depression.

Everyone could use a little help every now and then. I help you to get back on track.

It may be that you have not been feeling well for a while and notice that you want to change something about your life. You may get stuck in complicated behavioral patterns. I believe that everyone has the opportunity to get back on track, with the right tools and insights.

I can assist you in learning to understand yourself better, so that you can let go of old patterns and learn new helpful patterns.

I work client-oriented and approach issues with an open-mind, which means that every person is unique with unique characteristics and I adapt my treatment accordingly.

If you have less need to focus on psychological issues and want to focus more on taking practical steps in life? Then coaching might be right for you. Together we look at where you want to work towards. This can be by working on your self-image, integrating life-changing experiences, your health, your career path, in the relational sphere, etc. I combine disciplines from my background as a psychologist, yoga therapist and give lifestyle advice to assist you in the best possible way.


The coaching I offer focuses on three pillars, psychology, exercise and nutrition. I see these pillars as inseparable from each other. I believe that a balanced life is the key to a happy life.

I am Job, psychologist & coach. I studied clinical psychology at the VU University Amsterdam. My interests focus on working on human wellbeing. As a result, I am often working on a balancing mental and physical health. I like being involved in sports/exercise, nutrition, yoga/meditation. I believe that well being is a inter-linked process between a healthy mind and a healthy body. My motto: 'practice what you preach'.

Human wellbeing is a subject that is constantly changing. To provide a service to the best of my ability, it is of the utmost importance to keep myself up to speed with the latest scientific research in psychology, nutrition, and holistic health.  I continuously train myself, not only by reading but also by doing. Experience teaches more than theory.

I have experience as a psychologist in a psycho-dynamic practice, I have also worked as a psychologist in counseling multi-problem families and I have been working for various general practices as POH-GGZ for the last two years. In addition, I have been working as a coach for several years and give private boxing and yoga classes.

I like to work with people who are motivated in treatment, but are still trying to find their way. I would like to support you in this path. I have a holistic view and approach to moving forward in life.

During the first free introductory phone call we can see if I am the right psychologist for you.


Trust and motivation form an important basis for the therapy. During the first meeting we will discuss your request for help, which complaints you have and we also look at all strengths/talents to form a picture of you and your situation.


Does it click? Then we schedule the first therapeutic session. I mainly work online through video calling, but physical appointments are also possible (In Amsterdam).

Practical info

Each session in 50 minutes. I do not work with health insurance, so the insurance does not cover my consultations (it may be tax deductible for you).

I currently do not have a waiting list, short term appointments are possible and no referral is needed.

Paradoxically the more we try to change ourselves, the more we prevent change from occurring. On the other hand, the more we allow ourselves to fully experience who we are, the greater possibility of change.
